Division 47 Student Representatives

APA Division 47 (Exercise and Sport Psychology) has two student representatives to serve their student population. These representatives serve two-year terms and are set up on a staggered term schedule creating a senior representative/junior representative system. The representatives are involved in executive board meetings and communications specifically to improve how the organization can benefit its students and to offer new ideas for student involvement. The representatives offer a strong voice for all student affiliates with the executive board. They also work on several projects each year including recruitment of student affiliates, retention of those student affiliates, networking with students and professionals, and the planning of the student social at the APA convention.The current student representatives are Sherry Schweighardt (sherry@temple.edu) and Laura DiPasquale (lauradipasquale@my.unt.edu).
