APA Division 47 Conference Program Overview and Call for Submissions

We at APA Division 47 would like to encourage you to submit a presentation for the upcoming APA Convention. Please note that although dates change, the deadline for submissions to the annual Convention is generally sometime in early December, and the convention is generally held in August of the following year (See future locations and dates for convention).

The Division 47 program continues to grow in terms of diversity of presenters and topics, as well as numbers of submissions and accepted proposals. We hope to continue this growth by encouraging as many people to submit presentations as possible. It is important to note that Division 47 is a diverse division with many possible topics areas. Please look upon this division as one that supports both research and practice based presentations from an exercise or performance perspective. As such, presentations accepted for the program in the past have dealt with the areas of sport, exercise, performing arts, business, and the military. We encourage our submitters to be creative in their definition of performance (see past conference highlight sheets for examples).
